Ever since AA Milne purchased the original Winnie the Pooh bear at Harrods in the 20’s, bears have made a regular and welcome appearance in our Knightsbridge store. The tradition of celebrating each Christmas with a specially designed and dated new teddy began in 1986.
Christmas at Harrods is a truly magical time. 12,000 light bulbs burn brightly in Knightsbridge and every child’s favourite, the Christmas Grotto, opens for business. Our annual Harrods Christmas Bear is proudly displayed (for 2009, Maxwell gets his chance to shine).
