The story of Billecart-Salmon began in 1818, with the wedding of Nicholas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. From this union the prestigious Champagne house was born and today it is one of the few remaining houses still owned by its founding family. Two hundred years later, the seventh generation manages Billecart-Salmon according to its original philosophy which is best summarised in three words: finesse, balance and elegance.
Tasting Note: Round, harmonious and balanced, this blend remains unchanged in composition since 1945 and comprises Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from Marne. A bouquet of ripe pear and floral freshness reveals a powerful palate and persistent mousse. Harmonious and balanced, this cuvée is fantastic as an aperitif or complementing a variety of dishes.
