The story of Billecart-Salmon began in 1818, with the wedding of Nicholas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon. From this union the prestigious Champagne house was born and today it is one of the few remaining houses still owned by its founding family. Two hundred years later, the seventh generation manages Billecart-Salmon according to its original philosophy which is best summarised in three words: finesse, balance and elegance.
Tasting Note: Assembled from five Grand Cru vineyards, elegant bubbles accompany the glints of gold apparent in the glass. Aromas of white fleshed fruits mingle with almonds which leads to a complex and powerful mouthfeel, all complemented by a fresh, elegant finish.
