Charles Mock is both owner and winemaker of this excellent property in La Clape. He bought the property in 1983 and has since built a fine reputation for making wines of great character and typicity. The property commands some 63 hectares of vineyard and focuses on producing excellent red wines, although the whites and rosés are of equal quality.
Tasting Note: Crisp pale yellow with a hint of lime green, this wine displays a delicate floral nose with noticeable evidence of lychee and orange blossom. A blend of 70% Roussanne, with smaller amounts of Marsanne and Viognier, this white is both clear-cut and lively in the mouth, revealing flavours of citrus fruit, apricot and vanilla with underlying mineral and oak characters.
