This small property is one of the up and coming wineries of the Lalande de Pomerol region. The vineyard is mainly planted with Merlot, but they also have a little Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are on well-drained gravels, which are well exposed to the sun – producing riper grapes.
Tasting Note: This wine has a deep purple colour, which is accompanied by ripe, rich plummy notes and hints of spice and cedar box. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with soft, supple tannins. The Perron 2005 drinks well now, yet promises to improve with age.
