This 30 hectare property is situated near Maury, in the Agly valley. Through his dedication to modern winemaking techniques, Jean-Michel Lafarge captures the flavour and concentrated structure of the fruit produced by his old, low yielding vines.
Tasting Note: Ruby red with good intensity, this wine is dominated by Grenache, blending Syrah and Carignan to complete the assemblage. On the nose, Chimières displays spice and plenty of red fruits, with hints of liquorice. Overall, a good balance is demonstrated with both depth and concentration on the palate.
