Viña Cono Sur was founded in 1993, by founders whose ambition was to create expressive, innovative wines that capture the spirit of the New World. The name ‘Cono Sur’ refers to the geographical positioning to the southerly cone of South America, on whose western edges lies Chile and its many favourable wine valleys. Their vineyards stretch across 40 different estates throughout Chile and the team are in constant search for the best sites to express the aromatic and flavour potential of each variety.
Tasting Note: Aromas of citrus, green herbs, particularly asparagus linger. Rounded and vegetal on the palate highlighted with tinges of lime. Concludes with persistent minerality on finish. Perfect with seafood and chicken dashed with yoghurt and citrus sauces.
