Christian Imbert is a flamboyant first generation vigneron who planted his vineyard on reclaimed scrubland in the hills above the south eastern Porto Vecchio during the 1960s. The Domaine is surrounded by dense thyme and lavender scented scrubland of the Maquis, which without doubt has an impact on these exciting and remarkable wines.
Tasting Note: A blend of Grenache, Syrah and local varieties Sciacarello and Nielluccio, this wine is earthy and medium-bodied with herbal tones. It is well-rounded with attractive red fruit aromas and supple, balanced tannins.
Food Pairing: Grilled Meats, Corsican Figatelli (liver sausage)
