Considered the star of Provence, Domaine Ott is a collection of three estates which focus their skills on creating succulent and elegant rosés of exceptional quality. Marcel Ott, the pioneer of winemaking in this region, acquired Château Romassan in 1956. Ott’s guiding philosophy for these estates was to marry the classic varietals of Provence with a profound respect for nature – a legacy set to live on.
Tasting Note: Pale melon with peach coloured reflections, this delicious rosé opens with a mixture of exotic fruits and citrus followed by aromas of soft fruits and gingerbread. This wine is big and round on the palate with scents of fruit and flowers evolving towards apricots. There is a lovely generosity to the flavours which persists as the wine develops a full-bodied structure, typical of concentrated vintages, and finishes with long, lingering length.
