Dugat-Py is one of the top domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. It is run by husband and wife team Bernard Dugat and Jocelyne (ex-Py). They own around 10 hectares of vines, including several Premiers and Grands Crus.
Tasting Note: The Gevrey Chambertin Vielles Vignes is only made with vines that are over 30 years old, which yield fruit with greater intensity, the younger vines are used in his Bourgogne Cuvée Halinard. Ruby red core with slight water white rim. The nose is delicate with red fruit, violets and a hint of tobacco. The palate is medium bodied with really good structure to balance the ripe fruit flavours.
