Founded in Reims in 1808 by Apolline Godinot, this exclusive Champagne house celebrated 200 years of production last year and joined the select group of independently-owned, family-run houses to have reached their bicentennial anniversary. The house is guided by a desire to create wines with a strong personality, centred around the family’s philosophy of wine making – valuing time, patience, and the pursuit of perfection. Each variety, vineyard and plot are vinified separately before being expertly blended together and aged for a minimum of four years. Following in the footsteps of his father, Joseph Stanislas Henriot is, at just 38 years old, the president of the maison, striving to maintain the core family values of independence and respect for patrimony whilst emphatically encouraging real dynamism within the brand.
