Karim Fayed hearing centre

Complimentary hearing tests for Harrods customers and bespoke products. The Karim Fayed Hearing Centre in Harrods is the first of its kind. Customers arriving at the store will now be able to have a complimentary hearing test, carried out by a top registered hearing aid dispenser.

Caring for your hearing needs, the centre offers free consultations and provides a full hearing service from custom hearing aids to advanced ear protection devices and MP3 accessories.

In keeping with the store's promise to provide the best range of services, including a pharmacy and an opticians, the specially-built Centre will provide customers with appointment only assessments and custom fittings.

However, it's not just for those who think they may need a hearing test. Also available are bespoke moulded ear-plugs and headphones for MP3 players to maximise comfort and efficiency, and a range of other bespoke products for noise protection.

All profits from the Karim Fayed Hearing Centre will be donated to the Mary Hare School.

The Chairman Mohamed al Fayed's son Karim Fayed, 24, was the inspiration for the centre in association with Mary Hare, a UK-based charity which specialises in supporting the educational needs of hard of hearing children and young people. Karim Fayed attended the school himself for a number of years.

The Hearing Centre offers hearing aid fittings and maintenance as well as a range of preventative equipment and bespoke audio devices:

Harrods believes in all-over fitness. Our dedicated Pharmacy can fulfil prescriptions and sell medical and complementary therapy supplies, and also features on-site walk-in doctor and nutritionist who can deal with minor medical problems and test for food allergies.

Heathrow

Harrods fashion department store at T5 is the first of its kind; an emporium dedicated to the world's finest fashion and accessories brands including Cartier, Etro, Salvatore Ferragamo and Zegna.

The T5 Signature store has its very own Food Hall with an exquisite collection of culinary delights. For long haul passengers the Satellite store, with its spectacular Swarovski crystal chandelier, stocks iconic brands such as Mont Blanc and Wedgwood.

T4 now hosts two stunning Harrods boutiques selling luxury brands such as Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Loewe and Roberto Cavalli. Further Harrods stores can also be found in T1 and T3.

Gatwick
