Harrods new Tasting Room is an exclusive dining room dedicated to the appreciation of fine wine. Nestled discreetly within the newly opened Wine Shop on the Lower Ground Floor of Harrods, the Tasting Room evokes a traditional wine cellar ambience in which up to 16 people can be seated for dining, 18 for wine tasting, and boasts full conference facilities.
Wine amateurs and connoisseurs alike can take a seat around the room's grand dark-wood table, sip fine wines from stemware provided by the world-renowned glassware brand Riedel, and take advantage of a range of delicious dining options, from informal charcuterie boards through to multi-course fine dining menus.

For corporate events or private hire, wine and food can be tailored to suit the specific event's requirements, with full access to The Wine Shop's range of over 3,000 lines - including many of the world's finest wines and spirits. You can either choose your own wines from our extensive range, or we can make recommendations to suit your requests and menu.
The wines are offered at shop prices. With prior arrangement, specific vintages can even be sourced for the occasion. All Tasting Room events will be conducted by Harrods highly qualified and experienced team of wine professionals.

Bookings

To book an event at The Tasting Room at Harrods please contact us on 020 7225 5925 (Monday to Friday, 10am - 5pm) or email thetastingroom@harrods.com. All bookings must be confirmed two weeks in advance and require a deposit of £500.

Expert wine presentation or tuition

The wine component can be educational - for example, a masterclass on Bordeaux or a more interactive team-building exercise, and can be as fun or serious as you like. We offer a range of wine tasting packages or can create a bespoke tasting format to suit your needs. The Tasting Room includes a 60-inch plasma television and full audio-visual facilities.
