Milan AW12 Fashion Week
By 12 April 2012
As editors stormed through the third week of directional outfits, goodie bags and Blackberry finger cramp, we sat back and enjoyed the spectacle - and what a spectacle it was.
Etro was a flurry of texture and print with paisley, velvet and leather peplums all vying for attention.
Emilio Pucci packed the catwalk with supers from Anja Rubik, Natasha Poly and Jourdan Dunn to Lindsey Wixson and Lily Donaldson, all dressed to kill in LBDs with a difference.
Robert Cavalli delivered a serious dose of leopard for his Just Cavalli line (above), but expect the unexpected, as we saw futurism and mod culture also make an appearance.
Designer Angela Missoni put a distinctly earthy tone on signature prints and long-length leather gloves made another appearance.
What's more, we've got the view from the front row with Harrods' Chief Merchant Marigay McKee's diary and a healthy dose of Milanese street style.
