The making of Ralph Lauren’s Ricky bag

By Emma Day 20 September 2012

Ever wondered what goes in to making your favourite Ralph Lauren handbag? Now you can experience the brand’s expert craftsmanship first-hand at two special in-store events.

On Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September 2012, Harrods will host a presentation by a guest artisan from Ralph Lauren’s factory in Italy on the masterful construction of the Ricky bag. The Ricky epitomises luxury: crafted in glossy alligator skin and punctuated with polished metal hardware.

Guests will have the opportunity to be guided through the Made to Order programme and own a one-of-a-kind Ricky bag with exclusive fabric, colour and hardware selections.

Held between 2pm-6pm in the Ralph Lauren Collection & Accessories Corner on the First Floor, there will also be complimentary champagne and macaroons as well as the chance to shop the new season collection – one not to be missed.
