Step into the heart of Parisian style at Harrods with the launch
of four new boutiques in our International Designer Room, First
Floor. A dedicated area welcomes two new labels to the store,
Celine and Alaïa, as well as showcasing collections from Balanciaga
and Yves Saint Laurent.
The four boutiques are housed in a single room that has been
developed to promote a relaxed and intimate ambiance in which to
peruse the collections. Each boutique will include ready to wear
and sought-after catwalk pieces, as well as exclusive designs
available only from Harrods.
A celebration of French style: Harrods welcomes Celine
and Alaïa
Celine is the label de riguer for those in search of understated
and timeless elegance. Testament to the Parisian house's continued
success, Creative Director Phoebe Philo was awarded the title of
British Designer of the Year at the 2010 British Fashion
Awards.
Founded by Azzedine Alaïa in the 1970s, Alaïa is celebrated for
its figure sculpting dresses, show-stopping silhouettes and
intricate leatherwork, which has won this label a loyal
international following. Alaïa footwear is also highly coveted for
its fierce designs.
