THE SHOW: For this collection, DVF went back to her roots, and those roots were all about 1970s glam. Accompanied by a disco soundtrack, the clothes were glamorous and rich. Huge fur collars adorned jackets, and necks were decorated with thin, long glimmering scarves. A trouser suit of bright pink teamed with a scarlet blouse proved that clashing is still cool, and touches of velvet added sophistication to this upbeat, totally wearable and sexy collection. Diane von Furstenberg took her famous catwalk jaunt to I'm Every Woman as she stopped to kiss Anna Wintour in the front row.

WHO WE SAW: All the biggies - Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld shared the front row.

WHAT THEY WORE: Piles of fur to keep out New York's chilly air.
