THE SHOW: This season, Marc Jacobs was doing what he does best - making heart-stoppingly "want now" clothes. The overall mood was young and fun with a mix of eras and influences; bright leaf prints adorning blouses, and jumpsuits in scalding scarlet and deep purple spoke of 70s glam whilst swinging, tartan trapeze coats whispered 60s mod. Trousers were cut wide, hung above ankles and conjured images of 30s activewear. An outfit consisting of a T-shirt with a circle motif teamed with those loose, retro cut trousers perfectly encapsulated the style ethos of the girls this line dresses - searingly modern with an educated eye on the past.

WHO WE SAW: Continuing a trend for supers swapping the runway for the audience, model Jessica Stam sat front row along with Anna Dello Russo and photographer Terry Richardson.

WHAT THEY WORE: Fashion students crowded the back row in an array of inventive styles.
