THE SHOW: As New York Fashion Week draws to a close, weary show-goers always look forward to a serious dose of optimism from Michael Kors, and this season he did not disappoint. A riot of primary colours started the show with futuristic cocoon coats in royal blue, green and sunny yellow teamed with elbow-length black patent gloves, the overall look spoke of 60s Courrèges. Blown-up proportions continued to be a trend, and suiting was bold with giant shoulders. Seriously sexy, black corsetry with silver zip detailing moved the collection from day to evening, or should we say night, and who could forget to mention the camouflage printed furs?

WHO WE SAW: Kors always draws a stellar line-up - Willow Smith, Hilary Swank, Zoe Saldana, and Karolina Kurkova were all present in the front row.

WHAT THEY WORE: We loved blogger Bryan Boy's grass green sweater from the Michael Kors SS13 collection.
