Taittinger Brut Vintage Champagne
£64.95 Product Code 5131623
Pale radiant yellow with an abundant of fine bubbles rising to form a delicate persistent necklace. The first impression on the nose combines flintiness with yeasty bread aromas. This quickly gives way to a fine, intense, sweet fruitiness, of crystallised fruit scents of lemon and mandarin with a flowery touch of acacia honey. On the palate, the fruity attack is sublimely fresh and rich. The mid-palate is balanced, structured and smooth, releasing flavours of sugared pink grapefruit. The exceptional intensity of the finish is long, generous and complex.
Grilled and roasted white meats, fish and shellfish. Besides making an excellent aperitif, this vintage has the depth and complexity to marry with creamy fish dishes such as Lobster Thermidor too.

Taittinger remains one of the few Champagne houses to remain owned and actively managed by the family named on the label. Though the house’s origins are thanks to its founder Jacques Fourneaux back in 1734, the Taittinger name was introduced almost two centuries later when Pierre Taittinger acquired the house.
Regrettably, food and wine products are non-returnable.
