Chateau Malartic Lagraviere Chateau Malarctic Lagraviere, 2009
£64.95 Product Code 4780734
The colour is bright, clear, and deep crimson. To the nose it is very harmonious, lovely intensity with black fruit and spices. Complex, with slightly smoky, toasted notes. The palate is a fine attack, lots of volume and good balance. The tannins are silky. Pleasant fruitiness with smoky, spicy notes. Minerality. The overall impression is of freshness, great length, vigour and power. This wine combines tremendous richness in the flavours with a delightful freshness, giving it exceptional balance.

Located on the oldest wine-producing terroir in Bordeaux, Château Malartic-Lagravière was purchased in 1997 by the Bonnie family; it is one of only six Bordeaux châteaux that have both red and white classified wines. The beautiful Château and its facilities have subsequently been restored to produce wines worthy of Malartic’s splendid terroir.
