Overview

Tasting Note:
In the glass the nose has a hint of toast, which overlies the lime and citrus fruits. The refreshing palate is dominated by notes of lime juice and marmalade, finishing with a crushed stone minerality.

Food Pairing:
This Riesling is great with white fish or simply some goats cheese.

Pewsey Vale Vineyard was first planted with Riesling by Joseph Gilbert in 1847. The site was later purchased by Geoff Angas-Parsons, a local grazier, who in 1961 invited his friend Wyndham Hill Smith to jointly develop the historic vineyard site. They believed the site could produce ‘delicate Rieslings in the Germanic style’.
