Jean Patou Makes A Fragrant Comeback
In 1924, successful and renowned fashion designer Jean Patou launched his first fragrances, and ever since, the brand has shaped the world of fine perfume.
You may already be familiar with Joy, Sublime and 1000, but now perfumer Thomas Fontaine has brought back three more classic fragrances from the House of Jean Patou archive: Chaldée, Patou Pour Homme and Eau de Patou - all exclusive to Harrods.
For the scent of summer, try Chaldée, a fragrance first introduced in 1927 following the popularity of the Huile de Chaldée sun tan oil with its floral, spicy, powder fragrance, while for masculine elegance, Patou Pour Homme is the perfect example of a classic men’s scent. Alternatively, Eau de Patou is crisp and vibrant – originally launched in 1976 as a unisex fragrance.
And while the scents remain vintage classics, the bottles have been revamped with a contemporary, yet understated look – perfect for any modern dressing table.
