Tuula Vintage Beauty How-To

Striking a pose for the Harrods Digital Style Summit, Jessica Stein of Tuula Vintage says; "I don’t like putting too much make-up on my skin. I much prefer a more subtle look."

On-set Bobbi Brown make-up artist Natalia reveals how to recreate Jessica's chic look.

Tuula Vintage Beauty How-To
  1. 1

    Step 1
    Bobbi Brown

For a healthy-looking complexion like Jessica’s, make sure the skin is hydrated. Moisturiser is key to keeping the skin looking fresh – try the Hydrating Gel Cream for a lightweight base. It’s also important not to forget the delicate eye area - using your finger, gently pat the Hydrating Eye Cream into the skin.

Then, apply the BB Cream SPF 35 for a matte, natural look to the skin and the Corrector and Creamy Concealer under the eyes to brighten.

To hold the foundation and concealer in place, use a light dusting of the Soft Sand Pressed Powder. Define the cheekbone using Medium Bronzing Powder.

  3. 3

    Step 3
    Bobbi Brown

For a natural flush to the cheek use the Desert Rose Blush. Smile and dust onto the apples of the cheeks. For the lip, pat the Pot Rouge in Rose onto the lip for a pretty stain.

  4. 4

    Step 4
    Bobbi Brown

To strengthen and define the brows, brush Eye Shadow in Grey into the brow using feathery strokes. For the most natural look use a shadow that matches your natural brow.

Even for blondes, black mascara makes the most impact. Brush from the base to the tip of the lashes.

Final Result

Giving definition and depth, the smoky eye makes Jessica's natural eye shade really pop, achieving extra edge with lengthened lashes.

The rose tones accentuate Jessica's fair complexion adding a subtle contour on cheeks, balanced out for the lip with a creamy petal shade.
