The Best Oscars 2015 Beauty Looks

The Oscars red carpet is renowned for showcasing some of the season’s most beautiful gowns, but it is also a great source of beauty eye candy. These A-listers have access to some of the best make-up artists and session stylists in the business, and can always be counted upon when searching for inspiration. We’ve picked our top six beauty icons that we’ll be championing for SS15:

Keira Knightley – Classic Nude
Natural beauty Keira proved that sometimes less is more by balancing a subtle eye and lip with brushed-up eyebrows. Teamed with a light dusting of blush on the cheekbones and glossy waved locks, a hair jewel provided a final hint of sparkle.

Lupita Nyong'o – Luminous Metallics
Lupita’s radiant complexion and smouldering metallic smoky eye is the perfect inspiration for spring evenings. We’ll be faking the glow by dotting a hint of cream highlighter on the cheekbones and temples.

Margot Robbie – Statement Lip
Debuting a new blunt bob, Margot showcased Hollywood’s favourite lip colour, red, but kept things modern by paring down with minimal eye make-up. A simple sweep of mascara was understated enough to let the lipstick take centre stage.

Scarlett Johansson – Blush Shades
Scarlett’s undercut looked both edgy and elegant when contrasted with pretty blush make-up shades. A wash of Dolce & Gabbana Perfect Mono Eye Colour in nude on the lid and a stained pink lip enhanced the starlet’s best features.

Sienna Miller – Smoky Liner
The dark smoky eye/nude lips combo is universally flattering and looks especially striking teamed with Sienna’s fresh, glowing skin. Proving that she hasn’t completely abandoned her Boho roots, her cheekbone-flattering up-do was kept textured for an undone finish.

Julianne Moore – Bare Skin
We love the way that Julianne has plumped for plum eyeshadow which naturally enhances her deep auburn locks, but we are especially inspired by her complexion – worn bare, with only a hint of pink blush at the cheekbones, her natural radiance shines through.
