Phoebe Philo went back to her minimalist roots for Céline's Autumn/Winter line-up...
After SS14's artistic expressionism, Phoebe Philo toned things right down for Autumn/Winter, returning to the sleek, minimalist look that has become synonymous with the fashion house. Opening with a double-breasted black coat with white buttons, the line-up was both streamlined and feminine, with Philo using the Thirties as a launchpad for her "women in menswear". Phoebe-files will no doubt be lining up to get their hands on the sharply-tailored, off-the shoulder tops with peaked lapels, flared trousers and knitted tunics, and, not only will they be in possession of Céline's latest It-tote (a triangular doctor's bag), they will be wearing it a new way, too: on its side, resting on the hip, with one arm casually looped through. The power platform returns to balance out the silhouette.
Who we saw: Kanye West.
What they wore: A denim shirt.
In three words: What Women Want.
