Karl Lagerfeld turned the Grand Palais into a massive Chanel supermarket, with the likes of Kendall Jenner and Lindsey Wixson walking the 'aisles'...
Karl Lagerfeld turned the Grand Palais into a well-stocked grocery store, selling everything from Coco Pops to Little Black Tea. Fashion-wise it was also a feast, with boucle suits in raspberry pink and apricot trimmed in contrasting shades and delicious trapeze coats in bold orange paired with skinny trousers. Meanwhile, no-nonsense grey skirts were matched with multi-pocket swing jackets but pepped up with high-shine leggings. Quilted handbags appeared in shopping baskets that came with their own chain straps and shoes consisted mostly of gold-sheen trainers, some even laced-up to the knee. More than anything, the show was a reminder of just how fun fashion can be - with models like Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Lindsey Wixson playfully filling their trollies, mock announcements made over the sound system and the audience making a beeline for the tills with their very own piece of Chanel memorabilia.
