Chloe AW14 Credit: Catwalking

Clare Waight-Keller turned her Chloé catwalk into an untamed landscape - just perfect for her cosy coats and chic layers...

Clare Waight-Keller was in a cosy mood for Autumn/Winter, parading a "sweatshirt attitude for unstructured coats," as she revealed before the show. In fact, nothing would be more appropriate on Chloé's windswept urban landscape than Sasha Pivovarova's opening look: a powdered pink waterfall coat enveloping a whispy tea dress. Volume, a Chloé signature, appeared in the butterfly sleeves and ruffled collars of dresses and the trapeze cut of sheepskin coats while gauzy cashmere accompanied knee-length culottes. The palette was heavy on the pastels but appeared misty rather than sugary, making it pitch-perfect for winter. Frocks embellished with gold metal geometric shapes added edge to the collection.

Who we saw: Dree Hemingway and Julia Restoin Roitfeld.

What they wore: A crochet tunic and spotty skirt for Dree and black cape and boots for Julia.

In three words: Earthy And Untamed.
