For Autumn/Winter Victoria Beckham served up tailoring with a feminine twist and plenty of texture...

"For me this collection is about the embodiment of a modern and sophisticated woman," said Victoria Beckham in her show notes. The designer applied her usual clean-line aesthetic to 3D applications, including pleats, intarsia and ruffles in a collection that was mostly monochromatic with the odd dash of red. Long and lean skirts and languid vests were harnessed together with gold chain fastenings for a luxe twist on traditional tailoring while evening dresses came frothy and ruffled. “The boyishness of last season has been replaced by sophisticated tailoring that was flattering and commercial,” said Harrods’ Fashion Director, Helen David of the show.
Who we saw: The Beckham clan in its entirety.
What they wore: Dapper suits for the boys and a sweet little frock for Harper.
In three words: Polished, Sleek, Feminine.
