Emilio Pucci AW15
In his last show for the Italian fashion house, Peter Dundas, was, rather aptly, inspired by the zodiac. Cosmic-printed maxi skirts complete with trailing ribbons and slashed-to-the-thigh dresses appeared on a host of the hottest models, including Karlie Kloss, Eva Herzigová, Joan Smalls, Lily Donaldson, Gigi Hadid and Natasha Poly. Rich, red hues broke up the black and white line-up: a poppy-hued fur topped a red chiffon gown; a column dress modelled by Hilary Rhoda came with a rollneck but with strips of burgundy and scarlet silk criss-crossing the body turning it from prim to peek-a-boo. Fitting in with the pulsing tunes of Led Zeppelin, Dundas injected looks with his signature rock ‘n’ roll style, parading crushed velvet trousers, beaded blazers, fringed bags and sequined mini dresses with stiletto booties or over-the-thigh numbers. The last eight looks consisted of T-shirt dresses emblazoned with the star signs of the models sporting them - a personal touch for what was a very personal final collection for the designer.
Who we saw: Leigh Lezark.
What they wore: A black beaded blazer and matching shorts.
In a nutshell: A collection written in the stars.
