Michael Kors AW15
"Opposites attract," said Kors on his show notes and nowhere was that more obvious than on his AW15 runway. Uniting masculine tailoring with fluid, feminine frocks, the designer perfectly encapsulated an autumnal mood in a palette of chocolate, olive, fawn and barley. By day, the looks consisted of tweed tailored skirt suits, luxe knit dresses with trumpet-shaped skirts and paisley-printed pyjama-inspired trousers. By night, the glam factor was upped by way of beaded bias-cut gowns. Accessories-wise, there was everything a girl could want and more, from structured travel bags and satchels to lean shoulder bags. Polished Oxfords grounded the silhouette. Modelled by a fleet of It-Girls, including Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner, this was yet another perfectly-polished show for Mr. Kors.
Who we saw: Kate Hudson.
What they wore: A yellow off-the-shoulder number.
In a nutshell: Romance meets function.
