Roberto Cavalli AW15
After the glitz and glam of the Versace show the night before, the Roberto Cavalli show seemed rather tame in comparison. Based on Eastern influences and prominently executed in black and white, the collection featured animal-printed blouses, skirts and dresses mix and matched with silk and leather separates. Chartreuse floral prints crept down the lengths of silk maxi skirts, tailored trousers came in black and white oversized houndstooth and military-style waist coats with gold buttons added polish to poet blouses. Parkas, a feature on practically every runway, were either cropped or oversized but both versions were lined in plush fur for a luxe look. Despite the more muted style, the Cavalli DNA was ever present, with fringed jackets, lace minis and ombre pleated goddess gowns with cut-outs at the midriff that will be perfect for the brand's devoted party girls. There is no escaping the sequin dress this season and at Cavalli, you'll find both long and short body-con versions.

In a nutshell: Cavalli gets a make-under.
