This season Burch was inspired by the bohemia of Marrakech by way of London's Chelsea. From the Persian rugs that lined the floor and walls of Burch's new Park Avenue to the tapestry-printed dresses and carpet bags, the collection focused on opulent textures and rich, earthy hues. Jacquard coats topped marble-printed silk blouses and matching skirts while silk georgette dresses came with bias-cut hemlines. Suede and cracked leather mixed together on skirts, which, when worn with slim-line polo necks, were just enough of a Seventies throwback. The collection came together via the accessories: arrowhead jewellery, mini saddlebags, boots with carved metal heels and studded mules.

Who we saw: Model-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid.

What they wore: An embellished ivory coat.

In a nutshell: The new bohemia.
