Diane von Furstenberg AW16

The lowdown: For her AW16 collection, Diane von Furstenberg eschewed the traditional runway show and threw a party instead. Based at her flagship store and office in the Meatpacking District, the bash boasted a series of tableaux where models turned into actresses, playing out office life with overly-dramatised high jinks in printed dresses, Seventies-style midis teamed with slinky knits, wide leg palazzo pants and plenty of feather boas. Amidst cocktails and canapés and a host of VIP guests, including The Blonde Salad's Chiara Ferragni, Jaime King, Carine Roitfeld and Caroline Vreeland, was the grand finale - a bevy of supers (Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner) dressed in Diane's likeness dancing with the designer herself to We are Family. What a way to celebrate Valentine's Day.

On the front row: UK Vogue's Sarah Harris

What she wore: A chocolate-coloured fur coat, jeans and biker boots
