Helen David, Harrods Fashion Director of Womenswear
"Olivier Rousteing sent out yet another strong collection for SS15," said Helen David, Harrods' Director of Womenswear. "There was a departure from the usual OTT hardware and maximalism, replaced with a slightly more sophisticated, grown-up collection. But was it still sexy, fun, and somewhat in your face? Yes, and in a good way." With cut-outs on bandage dresses and sheer fabrics, there was plenty to keep the Balmain fan happy. The house's traditional silhouette was there, all sharp shoulders and wasp waists, but pops of primary colours made for a fresh update. "And in a season that so far has been awash with 70s, this move to the 80s was very welcome," affirmed David.
