Emilio Pucci SS15
"Fun, nighttime holiday dressing reigned supreme here. Stunning floaty Pucci print gowns with sexy cutouts in all the right places made for some stunning evening pieces whilst the embroidered minis would work both at the beach and in the city. 70s made a strong appearance here, too, with fun colourful, wearable looks."
Helen David, Harrods Fashion Director of Womenswear
"Happy and carefree, saturated in the mood-enhancing colours of the sunset, Peter Dundas for Emilio Pucci was inspired by the girls he loves both today and from past eras," the show notes told us. Certainly one of those girls is Poppy Delevingne, whom Dundas dressed for her wedding party in Morocco earlier this year and who was seated front row sporting an eye-catching jewelled suit. The Seventies vibe was palpable from the psychadelic prints, tie dyes on chiffon dresses, crochet on both mini and maxidresses and flares on trousers. "Fun, nighttime holiday dressing reigned supreme here," Helen David Harrods' Director of Womenswear, said. "Stunning printed gowns with sexy cut-outs in all the right places made for some stunning evening pieces while the embroidered minis would work both at the beach and in the city." Florals, a definite trend for SS15, came brightly coloured and crawling over suede coats, cotton blouses and crisp guipur macrame dresses. With supers including Naomi Campbell, Joan Smalls, Natasha Polly and It-girl Kendall Jenner gliding through the frescoed Milanese palazzo in Dundas' colour-saturated creations, this show was a definite highlight of Milan Fashion Week.
