Monique Lhuillier SS15

With more red carpet credits than most designers, Monique Lhuillier decided to turn her attention to daywear for Spring/Summer 2015, using the same principles that go into her exquisite gowns: volume, appliqués, tulle and heavy satin. Drop-waist tulip skirts came teamed with sheer, gauzy blouses, shapely culottes were paired with bow-festooned jackets and a myriad of pretty sundresses came in pretty sugar almond shades. Of course, it would have been remiss of Lhuillier to do away with eveningwear completely considering it has put her on the map and made her the go-to designer for the likes of Kate Beckinsdale, Halle Berry and Kristen Stewart, so gowns made up the last third of the collection - and were as desirous as ever. A strapless peach number in duchess satin was fit for a modern-day Grace Kelly while strapless frocks with full tulle skirts and delicate beading were just begging to hit the Oscars.

Who we saw: TV presenter, Louise Roe, Sophia Bush and Hannah Simone from New Girl

What they wore: A black lace one-shoulder jumpsuit, a sheer, embroidered dress and a strapless, metallic jumpsuit, respectively

In a nutshell: Perfectly pretty, day or night
