Roksanda Ilincic SS15
The Roksanda label, new to Harrods this season, went back to basics for SS15. Exploring simple geometric shapes and primary colours, this was a collection that was elegant in its sheer simplicity. Sculptural triangle folds featured on the busts or backs of some midi dresses, adding structure to delicate organza, while pipes of velvet were embroidered onto pencil dresses for a super-sinewy look. Tailoring came oversized and razor-sharp and boasted circular Perspex embellishment to further add to the graphic effect. The mix of shades - poppy red, bright yellow and cerulean - with fabrics such as bubble-wrap jacquard and digi-printed viscose made for a glossy but highly-technical line-up.
