Roland Mouret SS15
With many designers blurring the lines between the seasons, it was refreshing to see a spring/summer show that was properly, well, summery. With shift dresses appearing in zingy shades of emerald, tomato red and a mix of softer pastel shades including buttercup yellow and lilac, this was a fresh and youthful line-up full of wearable pieces. Dresses boasted Roland Mouret’s signature peaks and cutaways – strategically placed in all the right places they certainly do a body good. Perfectly-contoured halter tops came with shirt collar fastenings while gleaming white separates featured centred zips for a nod to sportswear. Florals were stripped back to minimal shapes, appearing as peek-a-boo lace appliques on dresses.
