The lowdown: From popular food brands to motorway signs, iconic symbols of everyday life have long inspired Anya Hindmarch, and for Spring/Summer 2016 the designer turned her attention to the British high street. Mothercare, Nationwide, WHSmith’s; each of the high street giant’s logos were either emblazoned across ever-chic totes or printed on repeat to create eye-catching, graphic patterns. “When tessellated and played with using myriad different techniques,” the designer explained, “these patterns emerged as something new and unexpected.” This is a collection made up of It pieces aplenty.

What they wore: Indigo skinny jeans and a white peasant blouse.
