Diane von Furstenberg SS16
The lowdown: "Wrapped in chiffon with a fresh fringe clutch, she makes her mark in brilliant colours and mixed prints," said Diane von Furstenberg at her Spring/Summer 2016 show, referencing 'her woman' this season, but really she could have been talking about herself. Never one to opt for normcore or minimalism, the designer sent out a tribe of mini-mes, all bouffant curls, colourful printed dresses and mega-watt smiles, down the runway in another exuberant show. Starting with Karlie Kloss and ticking off all the It-models in the business, including Jourdan Dunn, Lindsey Wixson, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Lexi Boling, the collection played out in a riot of hues and textures, from pink silk jersey dresses flecked in gold and metallic suede rompers to peasant blouses teamed with bomber jackets and teetering cheetah prints. The finishing touch was the flower in the hair - very romantic, very au naturel, very Diane.
Who we saw: Garance Doré
What they wore: A powder pink hooded Mac over a white oversized button-down shirt and jeans
