Markus Lupfer SS16
The lowdown: Putting a fresh spin on spring’s perennial florals, Markus Lupfer transported us to the Mexican wilderness for his Spring/Summer 2016 presentation, serving up margaritas amid a desert-like backdrop punctuated with wild flowers. Boasting Lupfer’s signature mix of pretty shapes and playful motifs, the mostly-monochrome collection featured lace camisoles, chic shift dresses and A-line skirts topped with bomber jackets, and came printed, embroidered or patched with mini Mexican luchadores and graphic florals. Star-shaped sunglasses compounded the over-arching ‘60s vibe.
Who we saw: Susie Bubble
What they wore: A candy pink petticoat dress and silver ankle boots
