Hublot All Black: Celebrating 10 Years
This year marks the 10 year anniversary of Hublot’s All Black Concept, a pioneering horological venture that saw the first completely black timepiece – the Big Bang All Black – launched in 2006. To mark the occasion, Hublot unveiled the 2016 Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire All Black anniversary timepiece at Baselworld 2016 in March, and it’s coming soon to Harrods.
A reinterpretation of the very first Big Bang All Black, the 2016 limited edition’s case is crafted from polished black smoked sapphire crystal – metal-coated sapphire that maintains its transparency to create a play on the visible and the invisible, and so enabling the construction and movement of the timepiece to be seen.
“Many brands now offer completely black watches, but we were the first,” says Hublot Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver. “The Hublot All Black created this revolutionary concept which is now a major trend.”
While the 2016 Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire All Black anniversary timepiece is set to launch both in-store and online imminently, discover the other All Black Concept collectibles now.
