Cara Delevingne Makes Her Mulberry
When Mulberry announced its collaboration with model Cara Delevingne at London Fashion Week in February, the anticipation was rife. A brand at the forefront of British design and craft, working alongside the iconic British-born model could only mean a new Mulberry classic was on the horizon.
Launching in September 2014, the capsule collection includes a series of three-in-one style handbags. Created to suit the demands of a busy modern lifestyle, each can be carried with their top handles, shoulder straps or as a rucksack. Quilting, studs and camouflage print all feature, as well as a 'Made In England' stamp on each bag – a tribute to both the brand and model's heritage.
And, as a sneak peek of what's to come, Mulberry unveils a short behind-the-scenes film, featuring Cara's commentary, revealing the inspiration for the collection and the creative process, not to mention the model hard at work in Mulberry's flagship factory, The Rookery, in Somerset.
