My Brazil: Alice Ferraz
As the FIFA World Cup kicks off, all eyes are on the host nation, Brazil. A country world-renowned for its sun, stunning beaches and itsy bitsy bikinis, we turned to fashion blogger, Alice Ferraz, for her top spots in Rio de Janeiro, her favourite Brazilian designers and more.
If I had 12 hours in Rio I would take a dip at Leblon beach, drink coconut water, have lunch at an organic restaurant called Celeiro and watch the sunset at Arpoador beach.
My favourite restaurant in Rio is MEE, an Asian restaurant at the Copacabana Hotel. The pizzas at Capricciosa are the best in the world, too!
The best place for cocktails is Jobi Bar in Rio for caipirinhas.
My top beach spots in Brazil are Bahia’s Espelho beach and Milagres beach in Alagoas.
For swimwear, I go to Triya – it’s super-Brazilian.
My favourite Brazilian designer is Andrea Vieira at Pat Pat’s; for me, it’s the coolest brand we have. Carla Amorim is my favourite jewellery designer.
Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, a white shirt and jeans.
Don’t leave Brazil without Brazilian jewellery - the stones are amazing!
Brazilian style is colourful, sensual and full of joy.
