Chai Wu Recipe: Manuka Honey-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass
To celebrate Chinese New Year and the recent opening of Harrods’ restaurant, Chai Wu, we’re giving you the chance to cook one of Chai Wu’s delicious recipes at home; simply follow the instructions below to treat friends and family or to impress dinner guests with this decadent dish.
Manuka Honey-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass (Serves 1)
180 gram Chilean sea bass filet
30g manuka honey
5g soy sauce
2g black pepper powder
5g chop shallot
2g mince fresh ginger
The juice of 5 limes
1- Melt butter into a small pan.
2- Add chopped shallots and fry until brown, then add ginger and black pepper powder.
3- Add soy, water and honey.
4- Let this simmer for five minutes.
5- Take the honey off the heat, add the lime juice and mix it altogether.
6- Preheat oven to 170 degrees.
7- Brush Chilean sea bass fillet with honey and bake fish for 15 minutes.
8 - Once the fish is cooked, brush over some honey and it’s ready to serve.
