World of Harrods

“What happens behind closed doors at Harrods?” It’s a question that’s captivated the minds of many throughout our illustrious history – and this year is no exception. Like everyone, we've had to adapt to these unprecedented times and even though the store is closed, it is still very much in bloom.

All of the departments you know and love, and perhaps some you haven’t yet discovered, are still available to you through Personal Shopping. Not only that, the people who make each department what it is are on hand too. The experts in Fine Watches, the in-the-know Beauty Concierge team, the whisky buffs, the tech specialists, the tailors who can fit you from home; they’re still here, working safely with strict health and safety measures in place.

To celebrate our World of Harrods, we asked digital artist Timo Helgert to reimagine a tour of the Knightsbridge store virtually. From a swirling cosmos in the Beauty Halls on the Ground Floor, travel onwards and upwards through Superbrands on the First Floor – carpeted in wildflowers – to Menswear on the Second Floor and beyond, all bathed in the glow of golden hour. This is Harrods as you’ve never seen it before.
