Creating An Online Account

How do I register for an account?
Please go to our Register page to register for an online account with Harrods.

Managing Your Online Account

How do I sign in and sign out of my account?
Select the 'Sign In' option at the top of the page and enter your username and password. To sign out of your account, please select the 'Sign Out' option.

How can I change my details?
Please select 'Change Personal Details' after signing in. You can log in to your account on the Sign In page.

I have forgotten my password. What can I do?
You can request a new password by clicking on 'Forgotten Password?' on the Sign In page. We will reset your password and send you a new one.

If you can't remember the email address you registered with, or if you have problems signing in to your account, then please contact our Customer Loyalty team.

How do I unsubscribe from the mailing list?
Please follow the 'unsubscribe' link from any of our email newsletters. Alternatively, you can let us know by telephone or email.

It can take up to four weeks for your preferences to be registered on our system, so you may still receive emails from us during this period.

Product Availability

Why can’t I find a product that I saw in-store?
As our online offering only includes a select range of merchandise, certain products are not available. If you have seen a product in our Knightsbridge store that it is not available online, please contact the store to place an order.

Delivery (UK)

What are my delivery options?
Please see our Delivery & Returns page for a list of the delivery options we offer. Further information on delivery is available in our Terms & Conditions.

What happens if I miss my delivery?
If our couriers are unable to obtain a signature they will attempt one further delivery at a later date.

If this delivery attempt is also unsuccessful, a calling card will be left and your parcel will be returned to your local carriers’ depot.

How can I track my order?
Please go to the Track Your Order page to track your order. You will need to enter your order reference number, which is provided in your order confirmation email.

How do I return my products?

How do I know that I have successfully placed an order?
We will send you an email to acknowledge that we have received your order. You can track your parcel online by clicking the link shown on your email or by signing in to your online account and selecting 'Order History'.

When will I be charged?
When an order is placed, we request a pre-authorisation for the value of the order from your bank/card issuer to ensure that the funds are available. However, this remains simply a pre-authorisation request until the order is shipped, at which point we take payment*.

We have found that some card companies show the initial request and the later charge as two separate entries; we only charge your card once and any 'second' charge is only temporary.

*Please note that for delivery of hampers, payment will be taken at the time you place your order.

  • International orders cannot be placed in UK Pounds Sterling.

How do I know what duties and taxes I will pay?
All prices shown on the website are inclusive of local VAT or sales taxes for your chosen delivery destination, where applicable. In addition, for orders delivered outside the UK, local import taxes may be applied to your order.

Which products cannot be exported?
Due to customs and safety issues, we cannot export all products out of the UK. Please see our Delivery & Returns page for full details.

Products that cannot be exported from the UK are marked with a UK Delivery Only symbol.

What is Borderfree?
Harrods partners with Borderfree to provide our international customers with product prices in the currency of their choice, and a guaranteed price for their order in their chosen delivery country, with all required local duty and taxes already paid.

How do I know my order was placed?
We will send you an email to acknowledge that we have received your order. We will confirm your order when it has been dispatched, and a tracking email will also be sent to you, which will include the tracking number and the carrier details for the shipment.

How do I return my product/s if I am buying from abroad?
To return a product that is part of an international order, please contact our Customer Loyalty team who will guide you through the process.

Gift Cards

Can I purchase a Harrods Gift Card online?
Gift Cards that are purchased online are only available for UK delivery. These will be dispatched separately to the rest of your order and will be sent by Royal Mail (with estimated delivery times of 3-5 days).

If you would like to send a Gift Card abroad, please contact our Customer Loyalty team.

You may purchase a Harrods Gift Card online. The card can be loaded with any amount from £10 to £500. If you would like to purchase any Gift Cards with a higher value, please visit our Customer Loyalty team in-store.

How do I use a Gift Card online?
At the checkout, enter your Gift Card number and pin code. The number is located on the reverse of your card and the pin code is located under the scratch-off panel.

Up to five Gift Cards may be used in a single order. The total balance of one Gift Card will be used before a second payment method is requested.

Harrods Gift Cards can only be used as payment for orders being delivered to the UK and being paid for in UK Pounds Sterling.

How can I check my Gift Card balance?
Please visit the Gift Card Balance page to check your balance. You will need to enter the 16-digit number located on the reverse of your card.

Christmas Hamper Discounts

Are there any discounts available?

Discounts for orders of £2,500: The following discounts* are available for Hamper orders over £2,500 (excluding delivery charges) when paid in full before 2pm on Thursday 8th November 2018.

*We regret that Harrods Gift Cards cannot be accepted as payment for discounted orders. Discounted orders cannot be accepted online.

Large hamper orders, adding/removing products and bespoke hampers: If you wish to place a large Hamper order with multiple recipients, please download your own personal Christmas Hamper order form. Fill in the required fields and send your completed form to hampers@harrods.com or Contact Us.

Regrettably, items cannot be removed or replaced in any of the Hampers available online.

Which hampers can be delivered internationally?
Hampers that are suitable for shipping overseas are highlighted as exportable on the product detail page and in the Harrods Christmas Hampers catalogue. All other items are not suitable to ship outside the UK, including all Hampers containing perishable items, Christmas crackers, alcohol and fragrances.

Can I add a gift message?
Gift messages can be added for no extra cost as the time of ordering. The card will be located in the delivery document pocket behind the delivery paperwork. However we do not accept your own message cards.

Where the delivery address differs from the billing address, the price of the Hamper will not be displayed. However a dispatch note will be attached to the delivery which will detail the name under which the order was made and paid for.

Can I return a hamper?
Unfortunately Harrods cannot accept the return of any unwanted Hampers. If purchasing Hampers as a gift, please ensure the recipient is able to receive the Hamper, as unwanted gifts, or gifts refused upon delivery, cannot be refunded.
