  • Lay Of The Land

    Spread across 12 acres in the Cotswolds is Cackleberry Farm. It’s here that the Arlington White chicken is bred exclusively by Paddy and Steph Bourns. Small flocks roam freely on grassland, as well as feed four times a day on maize and wheat. The result is the sought-after Cacklebean egg, whose signature white shell contains a rich, creamy white and a vibrant orange yolk full of flavour. The farm is also home to pure-breed Marans and Araucanas that lay eggs with chocolate-coloured, and rare olive or blue shells respectively.

Cream Of The Crop

Located near Beckington in Somerset, Ivy House Farm is a fully certified organic farm and home to 120 Jersey cows that graze on verdant pastures during the summer and home-grown silage in winter. The milk they produce is filtered, then separated into cream – from single to double and clotted – and pasteurised on site within 24 hours. The butter is also churned and handpatted on the farm, and everything is then swiftly delivered to Harrods – so that you can enjoy your dairy as fresh as it can be.
