Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson’s reputation precedes him. His is a lens through which wardrobe staples are artfully reinterpreted. For Autumn/Winter 2021, a versatile black coat gains dimension courtesy of circular sleeves – a Loewe signature. Elsewhere, in an electric palette of lilac, yolk and maroon intarsia, brushed mohair-blend knitwear is elevated to headline status.

Among Loewe’s plethora of womenswear ready-to-wear highlights, the new season also heralds the arrival (and revival) of the Loewe Amazona bag – a 1970s silhouette, emboldened for the now via distinctive Anagram jacquard. It is a leitmotif of Jonathan Anderson, who uses it across the Loewe accessories gamut to redefine and play with storied brand codes.
